Chevrolet Suburban details:
The '07 Chevrolet Suburban is based on Gm's new, full-size SUV architecture, which features sleek look look-and-feel, a sharper, more precise driving feel, more performance with enhanced, segment-leading fuel efficiency, increased dashboard refinement and enhanced quietness. Chevrolet Suburban rides on a 130-inch (3302, mm) wheelbase, which supports generous passenger and trunk capability, while enabling a smooth ride.
Suburban is the market benchmark when it comes to capability and the 2007 model affirms the reputation established in 1935, when the first Chevrolet Suburban was presented, explained Ed Peper, Chevrolet basic manager. Suburban continues to meet the needs of buyers by delivering its mix of trunk, passenger and towing features safely and efficiently.
The 2007 Chevrolet Suburban is available in the second quarter of 2006. It is provided in LS, LT and LTZ models, with 2WD and 4WD (a Z71 off-road suite will be provided later in the model year), as well as 1500 and heavy-duty 2500 series. At the start of production, Chevrolet Suburban 1500 models will come with an efficient 5. 3L V-8 with Active Fuel Management displacement on demand fuel-saving technology. Later, a new, all-aluminum 6. 0L V-8 with Active Fuel Management displacement on demand and variable valve timing (VVT) will be available. A 6. 0L motor with VVT and an iron cylinder block is provided on 2500 models.
