A full recharge is expected to take three to four hours at home with the 240-volt charge station - half the charge time of the Nissan Leaf.
Lexus is expanding choices in its well-known IS sport sedan line for 2011, adding a 306-horsepower Lexus IS 350 all-wheel drive (AWD) model and product a new F Sport Suite for the IS 250/350 rear-wheel drive (RWD). Updated front and back look-and-feel details sharpen all IS models for 2011. additionally, the IS sedans option minor dashboard trim changes.

A new front grille and bumper distinguish the Lexus IS sport sedans for 2011, while at the back, the models show a new taillamp cover and updated tailpipe layout. New HID headlamps with LED daytime running lamps are traditional on the Lexus IS 350 and available for the IS 250. The F Sport Suite available for the 2011 IS 250/350 RWD takes inspiration from the IS F ultra-performance sedan, combining special suspension and steering tuning and 18-inch wheels with distinctive layout touches. Giving the IS 250 and Lexus IS 350 F Sport Suite model a sporty demeanor are a front lip spoiler and back deck spoiler, plus the 18-inch alloy wheels with a dark super-chrome finish. There is also a matching dark-chrome front grille insert, and a new Ultrasonic Blue look color is available in conjunction with the F Sport Suite.
