Seat presented the original Córdoba rear in 1994, since when it has been well-known with buyers looking for a compact, versatile and well-proportioned saloon. due to its spaciousness and convenience, it was admired not only by the driver, but also by the rest of the family.

Now comes the latest chapter in the Seat Córdoba story, and all-new model which features all the virtues of the original with the distinctive qualities that identify the new generation of Seat offers. The new Seat Córdoba is further proof that Seat has designed into a design-led company, creating vehicles infused with sporting character - twin values that could be seen in the masterful lines of the Salsa and Tango concept vehicles and which are echoed in the make claim, 'Seat auto emoción'. High-tech and sporting look-and-feel that's also warm and natural is quickly becoming Seat's trademark.

Compact forms, an expressive 'face', a prominent, aerodynamic, wedge-shaped silhouette, wider tracks… everything on the Seat Córdoba conveys strength, character, personality, and above all, sporting prowess. The Córdoba is a worthy heir to Seat's sporting tradition, since its predecessor offered the base for Seat's World Rally Vehicle - a machine that challenged the best at the top level of the World Rally Championship.

Sportiness and versatility go hand in hand in this new layout. Four doors, greater cab room and a larger boot are just a few of its features. The Seat Córdoba is more appealing and more convenient than before and approaches a wide range of engines certain to satisfy even the most demanding driver. It also provides higher levels of security, with anti-lock brakes (ABS) and twin front passenger airbags traditional across the entire range.
The new Opel Astra Gtc´s sculpted shapes with precise accents and exciting proportions make it the ultimate expression of Opel´s layout language. And on the road, all Opel Astra GTC versions benefit from a luxury front axle design with Hiperstrut - High Performance Strut - that ideally features with the clever Opel patented Watt's link back axle to offer unmatched stability and the sharpest driving precision. Other innovations in the new Opel Astra GTC include driver assistance systems based on the second generation Opel Eye front camera with expanded functionality and the new, fourth generation Bi-xenon Advanced Forward Lighting (AFL+).

Unlike many 3-door versions of existing compact hatches, the GTC will be a standalone model in Opel's range and the ultimate Opel Astra in layout and driving dynamics. It does not share any look element with other members of the Opel Astra family, except for the outside back view mirror housing and the rod antenna. Six of the seven 17- to 20-inch wheel designs on provide are also Gtc-only features.

Also exclusive for the new Opel Astra GTC is the panoramic windscreen. For the original option, which successfully made its production debut 2006 in the previous Opel Astra GTC generation, Opel developers filed a total of 11 patents during its development. The big panoramic windshield extends seamlessly from the hood up into the roof as far as the B-pillar. With no cross-member to spoil the view, it provides driver and passengers a original driving experience and a completely new sense of room and visibility with an almost unlimited field of vision, alike to the view from a jetplane cockpit.

The Opel Astra GTC manages to combine the best of both worlds: on the one hand passion and emotion, on the other a high degree of utility in day to day usage. Its sleek looks are very striking and are the very essence of Opel's layout language. The atmosphere of the spacious dashboard is sporty and classy. The loading capacity (1. 165 liters) is considerably greater than that of its direct rivals. The Opel Astra GTC expresses our passion for vehicles, the Opel/vauxhall Vice President for Layout, Mark Adams, explains. This introduces our most emotional car so far, yet it does not sacrifice on the emotional with the functional side.
