Seat Leon vs Audi A3

Seat Leon

Audi A3

With the arrival of the 2010 version of the Seat León Cupra, the range's most comprehensive and spectacular vehicle now features even more cool looks due to several components presented on the dashboard and the look, making it the ideal extension of the Seat León that is making phenomenal strides at the WTCC World Touring Vehicle Championship.

The most obvious is the new silhouette, featuring sophisticated, high-tech black honeycomb cooling vents at the front beneath the central grille. The front bumper houses two further black highlights, one at every side, with the word Cupra immediately visible on the left.

The back features a prominent black moulding at the bottom of the bumper, a polished metal oval tailpipe and the characteristic model name in the centre of the hatch.

A side exterior at the Seat León Cupra reveals a lower ground clearance compared to the general León version, making the vehicle exterior and feel more like a racing unit. The spectacular 18 inch rims, eye-catching wheel arches and black encased door mirrors are all distinctive traits of the Seat model.
Refined style, agile driving fun and elaborate technology - the Audi A3, the Audi A3 Sportback, the Audi A3 Cabriolet and the S3 are the sporty models in the compact segment. Audi now displays its luxury character even more explicitly via new attentive details on both the look and the dashboard.

The sporty elegance of the Audi A3 models is already perfectly expressed in their design; their harmonious look-and-feel now acquires a host of new, exclusive touches. The single-frame grille element and the trims on the B-posts are painted in high-gloss black, the lower air inlets have chrome struts, the look mirrors are aerodynamically optimized and there are chrome strips in the door handles (except on the S3). At the back, all Audi A3 versions have a new diffuser insert with eye-catching separating edge, and the back lights are tinted on the 3-door version.

The paint finishes Volcano Red, Dakota Gray, Amethyst Gray and Scuba Blue are also new. There is a new wheel layout for the sporty Ambition equipment line. The wheels available as features also extend the range. There is now a high-gloss 17-inch wheel in ten-spoke layout, and two other new wheels are also available from quattro Gmbh: a 17-inch aluminum wheel in a five twin-spoke layout and an 18-inch wheel in five-arm rotor layout.

The dashboard of the Audi A3 models is likewise even more exclusive. The key features are dials with a gray background, a flat-bottomed leather sports helm full with trim ring, a new selector lever for the S tronic, black rings on the air vents and a high-gloss trim for the auxillary navigator plus. There are gleaming aluminum-look trim inserts on the center control panel, mirror adjuster switch and window lifter buttons.
